A committed & vibrant company

Welcome to La Compagnie qui pétille!

Theatre and improvisation to make you laugh, move you and inspire you to see the world differently

Based in Brussels, La Compagnie qui pétille brings together a dozen professional performers who share a passion for creating stories that surprise, touch and captivate audiences.

Since 2017, under the artistic direction of Peggy Pexy Green, we have been creating theatre productions with distinctive artistic identities, blending irresistible humour, genuine emotion and one-of-a-kind stories.

We're also a socially engaged theatre company! Because theatre can entertain as much as it can challenge perspectives, we use improvisation and Forum Theatre to explore important social issues, both through our own productions and tailor-made performances.

And beyond the stage? We work with non-profit organisations, public institutions and businesses, offering customised performances inspired by the themes that matter to them, as well as training programmes tailored to their needs.

We work in French, English and Dutch.

Two ways to bring our experience and creativity to your projects!

Peggy is the daughter of a hairdresser and a mechanic.
She should have stayed in her place. She didn't.
And nothing went as planned. Between a meteoric rise through the ranks, burnout after becoming an international executive, and her attempt to break into the world of professional theater, she learned a great deal about what our society calls success. In this one-woman show, a blend of offbeat life story and gestural lecture, she humorously dismantles the myths of meritocracy and innate talent. She explores the invisible mechanisms that keep the working class away from the stage, and takes us with her on a class-based journey that is as insightful as it is infuriating.

The program includes: a life story, key characters played live, sociology, exchanges with the public and a political reflection on who takes to the stage to tell the world.
